The Powerwall battery not only stores energy, but is also capable of detecting power outages and becoming a home’s energy source if the electrical grid stops working.
The main difference with generators is that these batteries keep the lights on and electronic devices charged without requiring maintenance or fuel and without making noise.
By storing solar energy, Powerwall reduces dependence on the electrical grid. These batteries can be used both alone and in combination with other Tesla devices in order to reduce the carbon footprint, guarantee energy in cases of power outages and save money.
