In a ceremony full of recognitions and business successes, Brígido Sepúlveda, founder of PROINSERMANT, was awarded “Entrepreneur of the Year” at the XXIII CIT Marbella Awards. This recognition highlights the significant impact of individuals and companies on Marbella’s business landscape.

According to CIT Marbella, Sepúlveda has been recognized not only for an exceptional career, but also for its visionary and educational approach in the sector.

Brígido’s history in the area began with her supervision of the technical facilities of the emblematic Hotel Puente Romano, in collaboration with Melvin Villarroel’s team. This project was the springboard for the creation of PROINSERMANT in 1981. A company that today stands as a benchmark in comfort engineering projects for the hotel and residential market.

What distinguishes PROINSERMANT, and by extension its founder, is an unwavering commitment to quality, innovation and responsibility. These values have been the compass that has guided the company through the decades, ensuring exceptional after-sales service. Continuous training and commitment to avant-garde solutions have been key elements in its success.

Brígido Sepúlveda passes the baton to the next generation

Already in 2005, Brígido took a step back, passing the baton to the next generation: her son Carlos Sepúlveda, as CEO, and Roque Justicia, as Managing Director. This transition marked the beginning of a new era for PROINSERMANT, without losing the values and essence that Brígido had instilled from the beginning.

Despite his retirement, Brígido Sepúlveda continues to be an inspiring figure, dedicating his time to innovating in facility improvements and training new talent in the sector.

The event took place at the Puente Romano hotel, with the presence of about 360 people, including Carlos García Giménez, Territorial Delegate of Economy, Finance, European Funds and Industry, Energy and Mines of the Government of Andalusia, and the mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, the event was a reflection of the spirit of collaboration between the public and private sectors.

Mayor Muñoz highlighted the importance of this alliance, highlighting the “close collaboration” of the business community with the city and emphasizing the confidence in overcoming together the challenges facing the region, such as drought.

Among the other honorees of the night, the Avoi Association was recognized in the Institution category, the Solheim Cup received the Luis Cierco Special Award for Tourism Promotion of Marbella, and the company Divilo was awarded in the new Business Innovation category.

The leading newspaper of Malaga, Diario SUR, has echoed the news in its business supplement, highlighting the work of Brígido, for her contribution to the economic development of Marbella and the region.
