PROINSERMANT has held the award ceremony for the third edition of its ProTalento Scholarships, a programme aimed at the children of company employees that seeks to recognise academic effort, support their education and help them continue their university or vocational studies.

A total of twelve young people from both educational pathways were recognised during the event. They will receive financial support to help cover some of the costs associated with their studies. The scholarships can be used towards tuition fees, books, educational materials, electronic devices, transport, language courses, academic support or other education-related needs.

The ceremony, hosted by Pilar Hidalgo, Human Resources Director at PROINSERMANT, brought together students, families, employees and company representatives. It was attended by Brígido Sepúlveda, founder of PROINSERMANT, accompanied by his wife, Felisa Molinos; Carlos Sepúlveda, CEO; and Roque Justicia, Managing Director, who presented the scholarships to the students. Through the event, PROINSERMANT sought to recognise their academic achievements as well as the consistency, commitment and responsibility behind them.

For Carlos Sepúlveda, CEO of PROINSERMANT, this philosophy is closely linked to the way the company understands its responsibility towards the people who are part of it.

“A company cannot think solely about what happens during the working day. Behind every employee there is a family, personal ambitions and individual circumstances. Through the ProTalento Scholarships, we want to recognise the efforts of these young people, but also to support their families and, in some way, give something back for the commitment our employees show to PROINSERMANT every day,” he said.

Guidance and support

In addition to financial assistance, the ProTalento Scholarships programme includes guidance and support measures designed to contribute to the young people’s academic and professional development.

“With these scholarships, we do not simply want to recognise good grades. Behind a strong academic record there is consistency, responsibility, organisational skills and many hours of hard work. These are also values that form part of our company culture and which we believe are particularly important to recognise among younger generations,” explained Pilar Hidalgo, Human Resources Director at PROINSERMANT.

The initiative also seeks to strengthen the relationship between the company and its employees, based on the understanding that an organisation’s development is closely connected to the wellbeing and stability of the people who work within it.

This approach is particularly significant for a company celebrating 45 years in business in 2026, where job stability and continuity within its teams have historically played an important role. PROINSERMANT currently has around 200 employees, with an average length of service of approximately 20 years.

“The ProTalento Scholarships are now in their third edition in a particularly significant year for PROINSERMANT, as we celebrate our 45th anniversary and have also revisited the story of our founder, Brígido Sepúlveda, through his biography. These scholarships began as a commitment to our families, to young people and to their education, and they become more firmly established each year. We firmly believe that investing in education means investing in the future and contributing to a society with greater opportunities,” said Roque Justicia, Managing Director of PROINSERMANT.

Over the decades, PROINSERMANT has grown alongside generations of employees and their families, progressively introducing new measures designed to help people achieve a better balance between their professional and personal lives.

Work-life balance and measures to support employees

The scholarship programme forms part of the different measures through which PROINSERMANT seeks to extend its support for people beyond the workplace itself. Alongside supporting the education of employees’ children, in recent years the company has introduced initiatives focused on work-life balance, flexibility and employee wellbeing.

One of these is the 8.00 am to 4.00 pm continuous working day, introduced by PROINSERMANT last year to make it easier for employees to balance work with their personal lives and organise their time more effectively.

The company also offers remote working options, reduced working hours for employees with dependent children who request them, and various initiatives designed to support the personal interests and projects of its workforce.

These include sports sponsorships for PROINSERMANT employees who take part in competitions, through which the company supports activities that also require preparation, effort and consistency outside the professional environment.

“We want people to be able to develop their careers without having to put other important areas of their lives to one side. Everyone’s needs are different, which is why we are working towards measures that allow us to support a range of family and personal circumstances,” added Pilar Hidalgo.

The third edition of the ProTalento Scholarships therefore continues a programme designed to extend the relationship between PROINSERMANT and its team to the next generation, supporting their education and recognising the efforts of young people as they begin to build their own academic and professional futures.
